Bob Wheatley founder and president of RWCS is a Johns Hopkins University graduate, has over 20 years
experience in circuit design and product development. He started
as a technician, attending night school to get his engineering degree.
He has worked in various design engineering
positions from before his graduation in 1987 through July of 1996.
He has been self employed as a consulting engineer since December of 1994.
Bob has specialized in Analog & Mixed Signal electronic circuitry.
He has the experience to solve the analog problems present in all digital
systems today. |
The
Facility |
 |
RWCS
is fully networked, and has state
of the art workstations (most are dual processor), running XP, Win2K,
to speed your designs and simulations along. We also have color
print facilities for paper sizes up to C size (17" x 22"). We use
broadband internet access, which greatly improves our efficiency, as we
work off site for the most part. Our FTP site helps us service
our
customers, and provides a common file area. Each customer has
their
own private logon access to protect their data. If you would like
we can use a VPN connection to your network. We can also video
conference through MS Netmeeting or CuSeeMe. We are registered in
the state
of Maryland as an LLC (Limited Liability Company). |
 |
RWCS
has a small lab for circuit testing and development. We have
basic
test equipment such as Oscilloscopes, Logic Analyzer, Digital Meters,
Spectrum
Analyzer, RF Signal Generator, Power Supplies, Function Generators,
BERT,
Data Generator, and Frequency - Period Counters. We also have
Optical
Power Meters, and an RLC meter. We have a small temperature
chamber, to insure your product will work under field conditions.
The Lab computer has a GPIB
interface, to run automated tests. Any specialized equipment
that we
might need, for your project, we can rent. Please check-out our inventory. |
 |
RWCS also has basic soldering equipment
for circuit modifications, and prototype assembly such as Soldering Irons,
Solder Extractor, Hot Air Gun, PCB Vise and Magnification Devices.
We also have device programmers, such as a JATG interface, a PIC Start, and an EPROM programmer. |
